Composer Biography
Tiffany Brooks is a composer/songrwriter
making her way in this new age. She writes everything from
classical to film score cues to pop. Her music is very much
like her fashion sense: unpredictable and cool, but non-trendy.
Her style is unique because she doesn't alter her music to
fit into the mainstream.
She is a Washington DC native and she lived
in NYC for quite some time before returning to her hometown.
Her musical background includes studying jazz, classical,
new music, film scoring, and music technology.
She frequently goes back in forth between
the two cities making her a traveling urban chic.
Mission Statement
"My dream is to build a library
of music that will be used for TV, Film or Web. I am also
interested in writing songs for artists, but my forte is writing
instrumental music that can complement a visual project."

Education
She attended New York University from
1994-1998. She studied composition with Marc Consoli and Ruth
Schonthal. She studied music theory and orchestration under
Justin Dello Joio. She also took film scoring classes under
Ron Sadoff.
